The 2017 Durand Railroad Days Festival is well underway, and it began extra early this year.  The festival's new midway provider, Big Rock Amusements, opened up rides to early risers on Thursday morning, with two free solid hours of free fun!  And there were plenty of patrons that chose to take advantage of this pretty incredible deal -- a one time chance to ride for free, from 6 to 8am on Thursday morning.

Big Rock Amusements brings fresh and exciting midway rides not seen before at Railroad Days, along with several traditional favorites.

We ventured down early (but not as early as some) this morning to snap some pics.  Have a look at our gallery below, which also includes a few photos shared with Durand Now by Railroad Days early morning free riders.

We'll keep adding to the gallery, and you can feel free to send us your shots as well!  And for even MORE Railroad Days photo action, follow us on Instagram and Snapchat!
