Durand Railroad Days Royalty Application Deadline Extended for 2019 Railroad Days Queen, Attendant, Princess, and Prince

Durand Railroad Days Royalty Committee has extended the deadline for applications for the 2019 Railroad Days Queen, Attendant, Princess, and Prince. Qualifications for young ladies interested in representing Durand as Miss Railroad Days 2019 Queen and Attendant are that candidates must be between the ages of 15-20, currently attending or have attended Durand Area High School, or have a Durand mailing address (additional details are available with applications). Scholarships provided by Randy Wise of Durand in the amount of $1000 for the Queen and $500 for her Attendant will be awarded to the ladies at the end of their reign.

The annual Princess contest sponsored by Durand Lioness and Prince contest sponsored by Randy Wise of Durand. The contest is for girls and boys 7-10 years old who attend Durand Area Schools or have a Durand mailing address.
 
Each candidate will secure a sponsor who will provide the $50 entry fee. All contestants will be photographed courtesy of A&R Portraits. A Crowning Ceremony for the 2019 Queen, Attendant, Princess and Prince will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 6:30pm in the grand ballroom of Durand Union Station—Michigan Railroad History Museum at 200 Railroad Street in Durand.
 
Applications are available on the Durand Railroad Days website at www.durandrailroaddays.com.
 
Additional details for Railroad Days Queen, Attendant, Princess and Prince 2019 are available with applications. Questions for the Princess may be directed to Lioness Martha Owens at (810) 923-3308 and for the Queen and Prince to Jennifer Lindner at (734) 652-9343. Completed applications must be postmarked no later the December 21st deadline.
