With a Wind Advisory going into effect at 7pm tonight, the already cold and wet that is forecast for the evening will likely be amplified.  Trick or treating throughout communities in Shiawassee County is scheduled for 6 to 8pm tonight.  If you're going to brave the weather, be sure to bundle up.

Durand Church of the Nazarene will host its annual Barnyard Bash from 6 to 8pm.  The free event features games, prizes, candy and hot dogs.  The church is located at 9725 E. Monroe Road.

In Bancroft, an indoor trunk or treat event will take place at the Community Hall from 6 to 8pm.

In Byron, The Village Church will host its trunk or treat event at Willow Brook Golf Club from 6 to 8pm.

Corunna's annual Halloween Party will take place at the McCurdy Park Community Center from 6 to 8pm.

In Owosso, Pleasant View Medical Care Facility invites guests to their annual Halloween Party from 6 to 8pm.

Perry Church of the Nazarene will host a Trunk or Treat event from 6 to 8pm.

In Morrice, the fire station will be open for trick-or-treaters to warm up and grab some cider and donuts from 6 to 8pm, and at 8pm it's the Children's Halloween Costume Contest.
