The day began with numerous vendors on Hagle Street at the Durand Farmers Market, opening Wednesdays from 9am to 3pm. Later, classic cars swarmed Saginaw Street for the weekly show, a new 2018 Wednesday evening staple, before the band Paving Allison took the Wednesday Night Live free summer concert series stage. The concert series continues for another three weeks, with performances by Leaky Tiki, Magic5 and Ross Mead and North Country, and announced on Wednesday night, the return of Durand Veterans of Rock 'n' Roll for a special bonus Wednesday Night Live concert on August 15th. The Durand Veterans of Rock 'n' Roll will also play August 25th at the future site of the veterans home at the former Wilbur Bills school in Bancroft, raising money for Welcome Home Veterans.
