September Begins Fall Full of Fun

The branches of the Community District Library have several events planned in the coming weeks. Preregistration is required as supplies and space is limited.

September 5th at 6:00pm - Ladies Night Succulent Planter craft. New Lothrop Branch, 9387 Genesee St. Phone 810-638-7575.

Beginning September 5th at 3:00pm - Weekly HALO Club. Kids can come to the library weekly after school, log in and play HALO on the library computers or their own devices. Byron Branch, 312 Maple St. Phone 810-266-4620 ext 1607.

September 10th at 6:00pm - Celebrate Roald Dahl Day. A family movie will be shown. Refreshments will be provided. Please call the library for more information. Perry Branch, 135 S Main St. Phone 517-625-3166.

Beginning September 11th at 5:30pm - Beginner Sign Language Class. This is a six part basic level beginner class taught by Renae Thomas that will meet weekly for six weeks. It is appropriate for all ages. Corunna Branch, 210 E. Corunna Ave. Phone 989-743-4800.

UPDATE: NWS: "We don't think it was a tornado." MLive says Trent Frey, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said there was no radar indication of a tornado and no damage as evidence of a touchdown.
