Durand High School Seniors to Be Honored With Parade Tonight

Tonight at 7pm, Durand High School seniors will parade through town in cars.  The 2nd annual Senior Parade is a particularly special event in light of the Coronavirus pandemic because it represents one of the few "usual" happenings that hasn't been canceled.  But things will be different this year.

Attendees are encouraged to view from their home, business or remain in their vehicles.  All social distancing requirements must be adhered to.  Use of lawn chairs and blankets are discouraged along the public right-of-way, including sidewalks.

The parade steps off from the high school access drive, travels south on Saginaw Street to Main Street.  The parade then turns left, traveling east to Mackinaw Street, where it turns left again and heads north back to Monroe Road, ending at the high school.
