In each month that contains five Sundays, Corunna's Shiawassee Harvest Church engages in "Fifth Sunday Serve," trading the regular Sunday morning service for a day of giving back to the community. It's a vision of Pastor Steve Rau's, that has already taken the church to locations throughout the county. Previous Fifth Sundays have been used to bring blessings to the residents of Pleasant Valley trailer park and, more recently, improvements were made to the Angel's Hands Outreach store.

On Sunday June 30th, Shiawassee Harvest Church will bring Fifth Sunday to Vernon, for a Family Fun Day in support of all Shiawassee County's libraries. Admission is free!
