Community District Library Locations Summer Reading Program Is On

The seven branches of the Community District Library kicked off their eight week "Libraries Rock!" Summer Reading Program on June 11th. 

Kids can earn tokens by recording their reading times on a Concert Ticket reading log. After completing the ticket they can spin the prize wheel for a chance to earn more tokens! Tokens may be redeemed at the Libraries Rock Store through August 4th.

Teens who sign up will receive an All Access Pass to record their hours read. Awesome prizes await them as they complete their reading logs!

The District's summer calendar is packed with special events and performances! Space is limited at most locations, so preregistration is required. Please stop in or phone the branch to reserve a spot.

Here are events scheduled for this week:

June 20th
11:00am - Exotic Zoo live animals at the Morrice Branch. Phone 517-625-7911.

3:00pm - Magic & Comedy with Cameron Zvarra at the Corunna Branch. Phone 989-743-4800.

4:00pm - Nature Walk Pouches craft at the New Lothrop Branch. Phone 810-638-7575.

June 21st
1:00pm - 4:00pm - Rock in Summer/Play at the Park at the Lennon Branch. Phone 810-621-3202.

4:00pm - 6:00pm - Paint a Rock Band at the Bancroft Branch. Phone 989-634-5689.
