Life-threatening cold is gripping mid-Michigan, and one Owosso business is making sure that the homeless and anyone else that needs it, has a place to go to get warm.
O Town Cafe, 101 N Washington Street, will stay open 24/7 through Friday to provide shelter to the county's homeless community that many aren't even aware exists.
When we heard about this incredible extension of generosity by Steven and Amber Cohen, owners of O Town Cafe, we wanted to know more and to help spread the word. So, please, listen and share this brand new Shiawassee Radio podcast with everyone.
Steven Cohen is the featured guest in the brand new podcast's fourth episode. The first episode, released on November 1st, was a chat with Shiawassee County Sheriff Brian BeGole. Later that month, the second episode was a talk with Shiawassee Harvest Church's Pastor Steve Rau.
In December, Corunna's Team FridgeBot Lead Mentor, Scott Stap, introduced us to the growing exciting world of competitive robotics.
