Friday May 13th

6pm: Award Ceremony Honoring 2016 Railroad Person of the Year, Neil Randall, in the Grand Ballroom of Durand Union Station (Public Welcome)

6pm to 8pm: Durand Artwalk Through Historic Downtown Durand to Iron Horse Park

7:30pm to 12am: Wine tasting presented by Burgdorf Winery of Haslett and beer tasting with beers from Right Brain Brewery of Traverse City; music by Naked Jane; hors d’oeuvres, located in the parking lot behind Acker Agency and Jon Michael's Jewelry, sponsored by Graff Chevrolet of Durand.  Smokin’ in the D BBQ located in front of the Wine Tent.

Saturday May 14th
8am to 10:30am: Pancake Breakfast at St. Mary Catholic Church sponsored by St. Mary Knights of Columbus; children under 5 years eat free, children 5 to 12 years old are $4.50, adults $6 or family $18.

From 10am to 5pm shuttle service to the Depot will be available on the corner of Main & Railroad streets, courtesy of Graff Chevrolet, Randy Wise Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Durand Union Station

10am: Rib Burn - check in and meat inspection

11am to 12:30pm: Queen's Reception for Miss Railroad Days and visiting royalty; tent west of the former Kathy's School of Dance studio (invitation only)

11am to 5pm: National Railroad Memorial, Inc. (NRMI) display of railroad history in Iron Horse Park; "Trackless Train Rides" available

11am to 6pm: Chainsaw Carver, Ken Buggia, demonstrating and selling carvings across from the Activity Tent

11am to Close: One Price Carnival Rides by Arnold Amusements sponsored by the Durand Area Lions Club
One price bracelets are good for 11am to 6pm or 6pm to Close.  A different bracelet must be purchased for teach time frame.

1pm: 41st Annual Durand Railroad Days Parade
Lineup begins at 11am at Durand High School

1pm to 4pm: Grand Trunk and Ann Arbor Galleries open on the second floor of Durand Union Station

2:30pm: Ice Cream Social in the Activity Tent (while supplies last) sponsored by SageLink Credit Union

2:45pm: Michigan Stiltwalker, Neil Sauter, performs in the Activity Tent (free)

3pm: KidsQue Check-In

3:30pm to 7pm: BUBBLEBall Experience.
$5 to play, Grassy area of Main and Railroad Streets near the Caboose and Cow Bingo.

4pm: Cow Bingo at the corner of Main and Railroad Street near the train tracks; Tickets can be purchased from Durand FFA and FFA Alumni

5:30pm: Sawdust Pile Treasure Hunt for kids ages 1 to 10 on Main Street east of Choo-Choo Square sponsored by Acker Agency and XYZ Landscape Supply

6pm: The Mysterians live at Reed-Raymond VFW Post 2272; music starts at 7pm

7:30pm to 12am: Wine tasting presented by Burgdorf Winery of Haslett and beer tasting with beers from Right Brain Brewery of Traverse City; music by Ray Townsend; hors d’oeuvres, west of the Sandula Clock Tower sponsored by Graff Chevrolet of Durand and Team One Credit Union.  Smokin’ in the D BBQ located in front of the Wine Tent.

Sunday May 15th
7:30am: Packet pick-up for Railroader 5K Walk/Run at Durand Middle School parking lot

8am: Railroader 5K Walk/Run begins at Durand Middle School parking lot

9am: Choo-Choo Trot begins at Durand Middle School

9am to 10:30am: Registration for Beautiful Baby Contest in the Activity Tent; $15 per child, sponsored by A&R Portraits of Durand and SageLink Credit Union
