Noon-5pm: "Treasures Along the Rail" Art & Architecture self-guided tour presented by National Railroad Memorial, Inc. Start at the Pullman Baggage car in Iron Horse Park, next to the fire hall, to get your information packet and ticket for a free caricature (limited, first come first serve).

3pm to 6pm: Chainsaw Carver, Ken Buggia, demonstrating and selling carvings across from the Activity Tent

5pm to Close: One price Carnival Rides by Big Rock Amusements sponsored by Durand Area Lions Club

6pm: Award Ceremony Honoring 2016 Railroad Person of the Year, Rod Baker, in the Grand Ballroom of Durand Union Station (Public Welcome)

7:30pm to 12am: Wine tasting presented by Burgdorf Winery of Haslett and beer tasting with beers from Right Brain Brewery of Traverse City; music by The Mysterians; light snacks, located in the parking lot west of the Sandula Clock Tower.  Smokin’ in the D BBQ located in front of the Wine Tent.

From 10am to 5pm shuttle service to the Depot will be available on the corner of Main & Railroad streets, courtesy of Graff Chevrolet, Randy Wise Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Durand Union Station

10am: Rib Burn - check in and meat inspection

10am to 5pm: Durand Union Station open to visitors

10am to 5pm: Grand Trunk Caboose open to the public (Corner of Main & Railroad Street)

11am to 12:30pm: Queen's Reception for Miss Railroad Days and visiting royalty at First Congregational Church (invitation only)

11am to 5pm: National Railroad Memorial, Inc. (NRMI) presents "Treasures Along the Rail," with railroad exhibits in the historic Pullman Baggage Car.  Tour the historic steam locomotive, GT 5632, see the historic gate tower.  Plus, get a free caricature portrait (limited, first come first serve). Free bounce house for children under 8 years old and flea market and Artisans along Centennial Walkway (weather permitting), plus more surprises and refreshments

  • Lineup begins at 11am at Durand High School

1pm to 4pm: Grand Trunk and Ann Arbor Galleries open on the second floor of Durand Union Station

2:30pm: Ice Cream Social in the Activity Tent (while supplies last) sponsored by SageLink Credit Union

2:45pm: Michigan Stiltwalker, Neil Sauter, performs in the Activity Tent (free)

3pm: KidsQue Check-In

3:30pm to 7pm: BUBBLEBall Experience.
$3 to play, Grassy area of Main and Railroad Streets near the Caboose and Cow Bingo.

4pm: Cow Bingo at the corner of Main and Railroad Street near the train tracks; Tickets can be purchased from Durand FFA and FFA Alumni

5:30pm: Sawdust Pile Treasure Hunt for kids ages 1 to 10 on Main Street east of Choo-Choo Square

9am to 10:30am: Registration for Beautiful Baby Contest in the Activity Tent; $15 per child, sponsored by A&R Portraits of Durand and SageLink Credit Union
