Due to the unseasonably warm weather we experienced this past weekend, the City is performing a special yard waste pick up and brush collection on Friday, December 8th. The normal cut off for yard waste pick up through Waste Management ended on November 30th.
The City will attempt to collect any yard waste bags or brush left on lawns that morning. To ensure that your home is included in our pick up, please call City Hall (989-288-3113) and add your address to the collection list. This collection does not include regular trash, hazardous materials, or any materials other than yard waste and brush.
Residents may also drop off brush and yard waste weekdays, during regular business hours, behind the Wastewater Plant on Durand Road.
