No Livestock or People Injured In Fire That Destroyed Barn, Equipment

A fire on Thanksgiving Day destroyed a barn and farm equipment. Family has confirmed that the fire was at Durling Farms on Cole Road in Bancroft. We're told that there was no livestock lost and no injuries to people in the fire that started at around 5pm. Witnesses reported seeing the smoke from as far as the I-69/I-75 interchange in Flint Township and as far north as M-13 in Lennon.

This beautiful Victorian Depot was built in 1903 and is the biggest working station in Michigan. It is also the most photographed depot in the U.S.A.
If you have never visited or it has been awhile, come join us to see the 40 plus decorated Christmas trees and listen to the Durand Madrigals.
