Attendees will enjoy delicious food, mocktails, networking opportunities, and a variety of self-care experiences and resources. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with local practitioners and organizations offering activities and services designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness, stress relief, and personal renewal. Child care will also be provided, helping make the event accessible to women balancing family, career, and community responsibilities.
“In the midst of busy lives, we all deserve time to pause, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves,” said Krystle Steele, IWN Steering Committee member. “That's what The Self-Care Social is all about.”
The evening will feature three presenters, each offering unique perspectives and practical tools for self-care:
Toi Edwards will lead a chair yoga session designed to help participants reduce stress, improve mobility, and incorporate mindful movement into their daily routines.
Deb Hart will guide attendees through a meditation experience focused on mindfulness, relaxation, and creating moments of calm amid life's daily demands. A certified yoga and meditation instructor, Hart has helped individuals cultivate practices that support mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
Regina Carey, founder of Queen of Action, will share wellness coaching strategies that empower women to create sustainable habits, embrace personal growth, and take intentional action toward healthier, more balanced lives.
