A SupportNow fundraiser has been established for the family of a man who tragically lost his life while swimming at Campgrounds 'R Us in Owosso.

Chris Malone, 40, of Durand was swimming with his son and when the pair began struggling, he worked to keep his son afloat.


Another person was able to help bring the child to safety, but Chris went under.

Malone leaves behind a wife and seven children.

The fundraiser will help cover end of life expenses.
