First Congregational Church will be hanging out with the community and offering FREE hot dogs, water, snow cones and popcorn, along with a bounce house for the kids.
Thanks to the City of Durand, Art Hutchinson and Dutch Hollow Golf Course, spectators do not have to walk the Main St to Monroe Street show.
Free Coffee and Donuts for the drivers at the registration booths will be sponsored by the Crossing Church.
Book lovers will want to make a stop at the Durand Memorial Library, where the Friends of the Durand Memorial Library will host a book sale during the festivities.
The celebration continues at Iron Horse Park with special activities honoring America’s 250th Birthday. The baggage car and gate tower will be a great photo op. Adding another unique piece of Durand’s railroad history to this special community celebration. Jan Brownson of NRMI and Happy Birthday America Committee will be on hand to answer questions.
This year’s Cruisin’ proudly celebrates America’s 250th birthday with a patriotic “Happy Birthday America” theme, so expect plenty of red, white and blue throughout downtown Durand.
Whether you come to show off your vehicle, check out the cars and motorcycles, enjoy the 250th Birthday celebration, explore the baggage car, find a few books, bring the kids for some fun or simply spend the day with friends, there will be something for everyone.
