The project involves an investment of $300,000 to resurface 1.5 miles of M-71 from Shiawassee Street to Dutcher Street in Corunna. Work includes milling, hot-mix asphalt, drainage structure repairs and permanent pavement markings.

The project is expected to wrap in late September. Until that time, traffic will be reduced to a single lane.
