Inspired Women Network, the women’s leadership program of the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce, will hold its second-annual Holiday Mixer networking social and food drive to wrap up its programming year. It will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Wrought Iron Grill in Owosso. All are welcome!

While the main focus is on casual networking, there will also be the return of fun activities such as the photo wall and most festively dressed contest. Appetizers will be available, along with a cash bar. Cost to attend is $35. Non-perishable food donations will be greatly appreciated for local distribution.

Inspired Women Network was born three years ago out of a desire by women of the Shiawassee County region to have social, networking and professional development opportunities. Its first event was in October 2023, where nearly 40 women from all walks of life came together. It’s grown from there to include personal and social branding workshops, financial planning and workplace wellness through self-care webinars, programs on the importance of building relationships, self-defense and domestic violence awareness training, the importance of multi-generational workplace communication and numerous networking and social gatherings, among other offerings. Planning for 2027 is currently underway.
